W week!
I did much better this week and we had LOTS of W projects! I am going to highlight one of them and then show a picture of all of them together.
And, here's the rest of our W projects!
This highlight is our Woodpecker toilet roll craft! This was a lot of fun to do!

Weather
This week is W week, and I've been trying to do better with the Letter crafts than I have in the past few weeks.
One thing I wanted to do was focus on Weather. And since this craft turned out so well, I didn't want to wait and include it with the rest of the W crafts!
First, we made a Weather chart:
Here's what it looks like being used (the rest of the weather cards are in the pocket at the bottom):
And then we made a Weather Journal for Liam to record what the weather is each day:
Can you tell he is super excited and really likes this project? I think we will make up a couple more weather cards....like "partly sunny" or "stormy" or such.

Yep
Okay---so my mom brought to my attention the glaring lack of working pictures. Dang it, I guess I didn't have this while blog moving thing finally figured out.
It might take me awhile to get all the pictures back, but I will be working on it. I just thought I should let you know that I know.

R, S, T and U
So, I have been bad about posting lately....mostly because I had to move this blog onto a new account (hence all the NEW stuff everywhere!) due to a picture storage shortage on my other account....
....because of that, I'm posting 4 letter weeks in one! Buckle up for R S, T and U.
(I did try to make it easier and just took pictures of everything at the end of each week for S, T and U, so there really is only three pictures of those to look at.)
R week: (this is all we did for R week...because it was the week before Christmas and we did ALOT of Christmas stuff instead!)

And yes, more Advent projects!
Making wrapping paper:
Making cookies...gingerbread men, white chocolate chip peppermint cookies, shortbread, snickerdoodles and lots more!
We will have treats and sweets galore for Christmas and we're eating alot in the meantime too! We also had a "Polar Express" day, in which we read the book, watched the movie (I was strategic with my netflix!) and make a train craft, which I didn't get a picture of yet. We went for our annual Christmas Lights Drive on Saturday night....that was lots of fun!
There's only a few days left till Christmas! So exciting!

Jungle Bells Video
we sang Christmas carols on Sunday for our advent project. Liam's favorite is Jingle Bells, so I video'd him singing it. Enjoy!

P Week
p week:
Color pages:
David had to have his picture taken too:
Liam did so good at his P word search!
Pepper P's:
P is for Prayer! This included a color page and a drawing of something to pray for...
Prayer color page:
And this is the drawing and prayer. At first Liam wanted to pray that Caleb (his best friend who just moved to South Carolina) would come back, but after we talked it over, he decided to pray that Caleb would find a friend where he is now. The writing says "A new friend for Caleb from Liam". He is going to send it to Caleb in the mail:
Pattern Matching...this was a new and fun project that Liam enjoyed. I told him to draw what came next in the pattern in the boxes.
Next is the letter Q!

More Advent Projects...
Over the last couple days we have watched Christmas movies, made chocolate dipped pretzels and a nice long paper chain....
The dipped pretzels were super easy and fun to make, and the boys enjoy eating them. I used this recipe and just tweaked it a little...as in, didn't use a microwave....oh and I made peppermint "dust" (peppermint candies ground up in a mini food processor) to sprinkle over them!
And this years paper chain was extra cool in that we used the fancy paper punches I have to punch the strips with trees, snowflakes and stars before making the chain. It is hanging along the top of the sliding door's blinds and looks very nice!
More Advent fun to come...be sure to come back and take a look!
