J Week!

I'm actually getting J week posted on time this week! Yay!

We tried some new things this week and liked them alot.

J color pages:

instead of painting, I gave Liam some markers to color the Js with:

One of the new projects: Letter Sewing! Liam enjoyed this alot:

J picture cutouts. We didn't find much in the magazines that started with J, but we got a fair amount and even had a discussion about how J is pronounced differently in Spanish (because of the Javalina):

And our second new project: dot printing. Liam also liked this alot:

(If the new baby comes over the weekend, we wont be doing school next week. Hopefully, it will come!)

A Story

This last week Liam made a book. I helped him make the story coherent, but the majority of it  is Liam's:

One day there was a little dog, a rabbit, a deer and a lion. 

They were all walking and talking together and bumped into a girl. She was very beautiful and lived in a castle.

They all became friends.

The sun came up one day and the day was rather hot. 

They took a walk and picked flowers. 

They also saw a beautiful rainbow. 

But soon they all became tired except for the girl. 

They all asked her if they could go back to the castle. 

She said yes.

And when they got there they all went to sleep while the girl sang to them. 

The End.
